Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage is practiced fully clothed on a floor mat and combines assisted stretches, massage, acupressure, energy work, and meditation. If you enjoy yoga and massage then this practice combines both!
Thai Yoga Massage is like having blissful 'yoga done to your body'. The muscle stretching which takes the form of yoga style asanas, frees up joint spaces and deepens the stretch in a way that is passive for the recipient, yet very active in its effects.
As it is similar in style, Thai Yoga Massage also offers similar BENEFITS to yoga : flexibility, internal organ massage, oxygenation of the blood, mobilization, postural alignment, and quieting of the mind.
'Thai Yoga Massage you are having the movements done to you. Its like blissful yoga being done to your body".

Restorative Yoga
Often referred to as ‘Active Relaxation’ the practice of restorative yoga encourages a state of deep release through gentle stretching and opening; growing strength and flexibility with use of the breath - restoring, renewing and rejuvenating.
Restorative Yoga is of great benefit during life’s transitions such as times of grief and loss, pregnancy, menopause, recovery from illness or surgery, when experiencing insomnia, or just feeling weak or tired and in need of some ‘TLC’. Restorative practices compliment our other yoga practices and is currently available on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month, from 10.30-12.30. Bookings essential as space is limited to 5-6 people. |
Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga consists mainly of seated, supine or prone poses that are held for periods of time without moving, with muscles relaxed and passive - just breathing into the pose with ease.... it introduces us to the natural edges of our beings in a graceful way as we draw inward to experience a deeply relaxing meditative state and opening in the body.
Yin Yoga opposes and compliments our Yang - active lives, and yang forms of yoga and exercise that we practice - bringing balance and harmony to body, mind and spirit.
Yin Yoga is available from 10-12noon on the 4th Saturday of the month. Bookings required.
